Size matters
There is no question about it that size is the
main topic when it comes to choose your shoes.
Any experienced dancer will tell you that the
best dancing shoes are the ones which are
"worn out"! And nothing is further from the
truth. Not only because they have been through
all the hard labor and experiences but they
nearly became an extension of you. They became
a real fit to your body and that is why they are
so hard to replace or to get rid of. So,
"Dance shoes should be like a second skin"
What do I pay attention to when buying shoes;
1. Comfort above all!
2. Take your time to try different shoes, leathers and sizes.
3. Half a size might just make that difference.
4.1 cm front space is more than enough.
3. They should feel comfortably tight on the sides.
Leather stretches in time and will adapt to your feet.
Taking them to thigh might lead to sore feet. Taking them to wide to instability.
Taking the right size.
1. take a blank A4 paper.
2. place your foot (without shoes on and while standing) central on the paper.
3. with a pen (holding it vertical) you draw the circumference of your foot
4. measure now the 2 distances;
a. from the tip of your toe to the heel.
b. widest part of the forefoot (only for special orders).
5. Determine your size in the Size Converter Table.
